"It's class warfare and my class is winning." Warren Buffett

The value of any commodity, ... to the person who possesses it, and who means not to use or consume it himself, but to exchange it for other commodities, is equal to the quantity of labour which it enables him to purchase or command. Labour, therefore, is the real measure of the exchangeable value of all commodities. (Adam Smith, Wealth of Nations Book 1, chapter V.)

The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works....(Barack Obama)

The Delaware GOP has become Irrelevant in the State Senate

I had no idea that the decline of the Republican Party in Delaware was this bad:

Senate Republicans will be entering the 145 General Assembly with a smaller group than last year, when they held eight seats. On Election Day they lost the races for seats that previously were held by retiring Republicans.

The Democrats will hold a 16-5 majority in the Senate, a margin that would theoretically allow them to convene the Senate, have a quorum, pass any type of legislation and adjourn without ever having a Republican present. (emphasis mine)

The GOP in the state senate is now irrelevant to its operation.

I'd say it's time for the Delaware GOP to find a new message and messengers.
