"It's class warfare and my class is winning." Warren Buffett

The value of any commodity, ... to the person who possesses it, and who means not to use or consume it himself, but to exchange it for other commodities, is equal to the quantity of labour which it enables him to purchase or command. Labour, therefore, is the real measure of the exchangeable value of all commodities. (Adam Smith, Wealth of Nations Book 1, chapter V.)

The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works....(Barack Obama)

Did Karen Hartley-Nagel Bring Bluewater Wind to Delaware?

According to WDEL's Al Mascitti, Karen Hartley-Nagle took credit for bringing Bluewater Wind to Delaware during her debate today with Rep. Mike Castle. Mascitti disputed the alleged claim on the air. That prompted Mike Dore, Hartley-Nagle's significant other, to call the Mascitti show and allege that when it seemed as though Bluewater Wind was getting little support, Hartely-Nagle suggested to an official in Bluewater to enlist the support of unions. Union support is what caused the reluctant members of Delaware's General Assembly to support the project.

Dore added that Hartely-Nagle's contribution alone didn't cause the deal to go through.

Mascitti went off on Dore. He claimed that Hartely-Nagle had "no standing" to influence anyone. He also said that he has talked to numerous people aware of the details of the deal and Karen Hartley-Nagle's name never came up once.
