"It's class warfare and my class is winning." Warren Buffett

The value of any commodity, ... to the person who possesses it, and who means not to use or consume it himself, but to exchange it for other commodities, is equal to the quantity of labour which it enables him to purchase or command. Labour, therefore, is the real measure of the exchangeable value of all commodities. (Adam Smith, Wealth of Nations Book 1, chapter V.)

The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works....(Barack Obama)

Joanne Christian is the One Vote Needed for Open Government in Delaware

Last January Senate Pro Tem Thurman "I Hate Democracy" Adams pushed through his usual closed government rules. One rule allows Senate committee chairpersons to sit on bills without releasing them to their respective committees for an up or down vote.

All Senate Republicans voted against Adams' closed government rules. Only 1 Democrat, Senator Karen Peterson, voted against Adam's rules. All the other Democratic Senators voted with Adams.

Consequently, Adams won the rules vote only by 1 vote.

Joanne Christian will vote against Adams' closed government rules. Given that Senator Adams is 100% behind Rep. Bruce Ennis' bid to win former Senator Vaughn's vacant seat, what is your guess about Ennis' vote?

Given Ennis' reputation to fall into line and to do as he is told, I believe Ennis will join Adams in keeping bills in chairpersons' drawyers.

A vote for Christian will gurantee that a new vote on Adams' closed government rules will fail.
