On Walker International Transportation in New Castle

Walker International Transportation is a multinational corporation that provides freight services to other companies. Its headquarters is in Valley Stream, New York. One of its largest clients is General Motors and the New Castle, Delaware plant services the Boxwood GM plant. The location can be found here.

Delaware Watch has received many serious allegations about poor work conditions and shocking mistreatment of employees at Walker's New Castle plant. This is the first installment of a series of articles on the Walker plant in New Castle. I called and asked to speak to a spokesperson from Walker in New Castle and left a message, but no one returned my call. I will continue to call them to try to get the management's perspective.

Below is an interview w/ Brian McGlinchey, the Legislative Chairman of the AFL-CIO. The interview is 14 minutes long.
