Selective Censorship at Colossus of Rhodey
I recently tried to post a comment at the blog Colossus of Rhodey. It's a rightwing site and some Delaware writers contribute to it. When I tried to make a comment, I got the following "error message":

So the wonderful civil libertarians at Colossus of Rhodey are now rejecting any comments that cite articles posted at Common Dreams. Although Common Dreams is on the left, the news articles it posts are most often from mainstream press sources like this article from the Boston Globe.
Apparently, the writers at Colossus just don't want to hear from any sources that do not accord with their narrow world view. Of course, anyone can create the illusion of winning an argument if they reserve the right to supress conflicting evidence. It's something that totalitarian regimes have know for years. But anyone who has read Colossus closely will not be surprised that the writers at the Colossus of Rhodey have adopted that model.
Update:
I just recalled that Colossus of Rhodey has censored someone before and admitted it. They banned Jason from DelawareLiberal. Here is the reason they banned Jason:
Those words were written by Hube, a writer at Colossus."You turn every little thing into an overly partisan matter ... and all a hate-Bush rant. It's silly, tiresome, and childish. You just piss everyone off w/that crap. Everyone. And Rhodey has had it." (link)
Imagine, actually banning someone ON THE BLOGOSPHERE because they are "partisan." Oh, my! Just imagine--partisan comments on a political blog! How dare Jason engage in partisan speech!
Colossus comes off as a site for cry babies.
